Moving On

My experiences here at Radio Userland have been an interesting. Personally, it was my first concentrated attempt at the whole blogging experience. Initially signing up for Radio Userland was more of an experiment than anything else. Like many others I decided that it looked interesting and seemed worth a try. After almost a year, blogging has been a great experience that I wouldn’t want to give up. I find it gives me the chance to write about the things that interest me and hopefully pass on some valuable content in the process.

Last week, I suffered one of those life altering computer disasters. While trying to boot up my laptop I received the message of doom – Disk Error. Like software, hardware is far from perfect and these things happen. Well three days later, after reinstalling, configuring and resetting the only thing that remained was this blog. No matter what I did, I just couldn’t get my posts and content to restore. Well, like the many changes that we make I decided this was an opportunity to move my blog to a new home.

After doing some research at the various options that are available. I decided that I wanted to take advantage of the great .TEXT tools that are available at on http://workspaces.gotdotnet.com/dottext.

I am officially announcing that this blog has moved to a new home at the following URL.

For those that use the URL http://www.thomrobbins.com my plan is that I will move that link to point to my new site within the next two weeks. I certainly hope that you will follow me to my home and continue let me know your thoughts. Please don’t worry about the existing content. I will move all the content that was located here over to my new site as well.

Thanks Radio for the beginning but unfortunately it’s time to move on!
