Shotopop brings paper and 3D together for music video
All of Me is the first video from the South African singer Chris Chameleon's latest album, Made Available. The video is a collaboration between Brighton based Shotopop and the nice people from WIZZ in Paris.

 Silverlight, for real this time
Microsoft's answer to Adobe Flash and Flex and several other RIA (rich Internet application) and AJAX frameworks, Silverlight arrived with a flourish just over one year ago. Silverlight 1.0 (see my October 2007 review) manipulated its multimedia-savvy, WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) user interface using JavaScript. Silverlight 1.1, which added support for compiled .Net languages and supported more of the .Net API, was available at that time only as an alpha test. 
 Apple discontinues 23-inch Cinema Display
Apple officially discontinued its 23-inch Cinema Display on Tuesday, making way for recently announced 24-inch LED Cinema. 
 Google unveils SketchUp Pro 7
Google on Monday released SketchUp and SketchUp Pro 7, new versions of the company's 3D modeling software for Mac and Windows. Google said the new version adds features to make modelling more intuitive and to make it easier for beginners to get started. 
 Survey: print design to see growth next year
The latest business spending survey from research company Shape the Future says that nearly a quarter (23.9 percent) of UK businesses intend to increase spending on print in the next 12 months. Interestingly, this is more than plan to increase spending on networking (21.2 per cent) and website optimization (19.7 per cent). Only 18.6 per cent of the companies surveyed were planning to decrease spending on print.
