N Korean leader's lover 'dead'
Another story from the BBC. The thing that I find particularly incredible about this one is that the only photo the BBC had avaliable of Kim Jong Il's mistress was that seemingly decades old grainy black and white thing. Or is that the current state of North Korean camera technology? At least Kim Jong Il seems to have had good taste.

Call to ban 'thin' from dictionary
A Dutch group wants to ban the word 'thin' from the dictionary because it's insulting to underweight people. The group, called Small Intestines Anonymous, represents people who struggle to put on weight. They say the word 'thin' is a term of abuse used by 'fat over-rulers' to put down slender people. The organisation wrote to Dutch dictionary publishers Kramer and Van Dale

England's tabloid The Sun brings this dire pronouncement "DALEKS could be given LEGS in the new series of Dr Who." in the wake of the announcement that The Beeb has finally managed to negotiate the rights to include Daleks in the new series of Doctor Who.
