outdoor kiosk is design as outdoor condition use, the screen usually use SAW touch screen, which is waterproof, dustproof and vandalproof. and for the enclosure, it will be designed totally as IP65 agreement. It could maunted in wall or other place.

A device that controls the movement of the cursor or pointer on a display screen. A mouse is a small object you can roll along a hard, flat surface. As you move the mouse, the pointer on the display screen moves in the same direction. Reseller / Installer Issues :: How do you convert PowerPoint to graphics?
StrandVision digital signage subscription(s) allow you to convert your Microsoft PowerPoint file into a series of images that will work well with your signage. After the conversion process is complete (normally within 10 minutes), an email will be sent to the subscriber or trial demo user with instructions on how to download your images. If you wish this notification to be sent to a different email address, please enter that address in the Content Email area.
Note: This conversion tool is for PowerPoint 97 through 2007 files that are smaller than 8MB. If you are using PowerPoint 2007 and are having trouble with fonts, click on the Office logo in the upper left of the screen, click on PowerPoint Options at the bottom, select the Save option on the left, and check the "Embed fonts in the file" box.
To upload your 97-2007 PowerPoint file, click the browse button, locate your file and press the send button to complete the transfer. Depending on the size of your PowerPoint file, this may take a minute or two. Thank you for using StrandVision Digital Signage and the PowerPoint converter. If loading of new web information is very slow via Internet Explorer (v.7.0.5730.11), it may be time to clear your computer's cache so that it may update information more quickly. Simply select the TOOLS from within your Internet Explorer page (typically located at the upper right corner). Select the INTERNET OPTIONS hotlink. Then, select the GENERAL tab. You will see the BROWSING section where you need to select SETTINGS. You will see..Check for newer versions of stored pages and should check the AUTOMATICALLY item. However, you may also choose EVERY TIME I START INTERNET EXPLORER item, if your browser is loading too slowly. Go to the bottom of the page and select OK. You need to select OK on the GENERAL TAB page too. This is complete.

Updates :: RE: converting avi to flash swf
It looks like these are standalone products for Windows. I have ways to transfer files back and forth to dedicated pc's for conversion, so they may work out. If anyone knows of a server plug-in for Linux, please let me know.
